  • Subway

    Subway

    This way,

    That way,

    Which way to the subway?

They take us to where we need to go.

They get us to where we need to be.

Lots of people you will see

In the middle of the subway.

    During the day,

    At the dead of night,

    During rush hour,

    On the weekend,

    At any time of day,

There’ll be trains in the subway.

  • Test

    Test

    Test test test.

    This is a test

    Life is a test.

At least, that’s how it seems.

    Everything is a trial.

    Everything is a learning experience.

    It’s all trial and error.

    We all are winging it.

    We’re all figuring it out.

We don’t got it figured out.

We keep going and going and going.

    We keep on going.

    We keep on moving.

    We keep moving forward.

We all face challenges and obstacles.

    We all experience hardships.

    We go through rough points.

    It is a constant cycle.

    Testing, testing.

    1, 2, 3.

    This is just a test…

  • On The Edge of Time

    On The Edge of Time

There I was, standing on the edge of time.

It was not at the beginning

And it wasn’t at the end.

    It was somewhere in between.

    Sometime in between.

    What time?

    Who knows?

    Time’s irrelevant.

    Time is arbitrary.

    Time is an illusion.

    Maybe not completely.

The passage of time is real.

The sense of time passing is real.

    We grow and change.

    Things change.

    Events happen.

    Things happen.

    People come and go.

    We get old and die.

    We eventually say goodbye.

We may not see the end of the universe.

We may not see the end of all time.

But from our perspective, our end is the end of the universe for us.

It’s the end of our universe.

So, in a way, we all are on the edge of time.

We are close to the end of the universe, at least from our perspective.

We are not at the beginning.

We’re not quite at the end.

    We’re somewhere in the middle.

Lots of stuff happened before us.

Lots of stuff will happen after us.

    What will happen after us?

    Who knows?

    What happened before us?

    That’s history.

Some of it has been lost to time.

    We only got the here.

    We only got the now.

    We only have right now.

  • Echoes Within

    Echoes Within

A symphony of strings, a heartbeat’s drum, A melody that calls, where shadows come.
A whispered lyric, a soaring note,
    A story spun, afloat, remote.

    Piano keys, a waterfall’s cascade,
A memory found, a promise made.
    Guitar’s lament, a bluesy plea,
    A restless soul, eternally free.

The pulse of rhythm, a dancing fire,
    Igniting passions, lifting higher.
From lullaby soft to anthem’s might,
Music paints the day, and soothes the night.

    A universal tongue, unspoken, clear,
Washing away all doubt and fear.
A tapestry of sound, a vibrant art,
    Forever echoing within the heart.

  • Emails

    Emails

We get a lot of them.

    Everyday.

    We send them out, too.

Some of them are ones we need.

    Some we were waiting for.

Others are spam and junk and promotional stuff.

  • Restart

    Restart

    If only we can.

    But we can’t.

    Life isn’t a video game

That you can play over and over again

Or a movie that you can rewind back to the start again.

There is only one direction we can go

    And that’s forward.

    We cannot go back.

    We can’t go backwards.

    We can’t restart.

    There is no restart.

    There is no reset.

    Life’s not an audio tape.

  • Collections

    Collections

    We collect collections.

    Collections can be anything.

    From comics

    To video games

    To books

    To cards

    To figurines

    And anything else in between.

    Collections are fun to collect.

Adding to them feels like a small accomplishment.

Watching them grow and change over time is awesome.

They can also bring about a sense of nostalgia.

You can think about memories of the past from them.

  • Dogs

    Dogs

    Man’s best friend.

    They’re loyal.

    They’re playful.

    They’re cute.

    They’re fluffy.

They come in all shapes and sizes.

    Dogs are amazing creatures.

    They are our best friends.

    They’re our fur babies.

They are there for us when we need them.

  • Winter

    Winter

    It is cold.

    It’s freezing.

    It’s brick out.

    It is cold outside.

    It is freezing outside.

    It is brick outside.

    The weather is not warm.

The weather is the opposite of hot.

    It’s not summer.

    It’s winter.

It is the season of snow

    And the season of ice.

Gotta bundle up to stay warm.

  • Something

    Something

    Something something something.

    Something’s something.

    Something is something.

    Something is a something.

    Something is some thing.

    Some thing is something.

    Something is not nothing.

Something is the opposite of nothing.

    Something is a thing.

    A thing is something.

    Something is something.
