RIP Peanut and Fred

i just wanted to give my two cents on Peanut the Squirrel and Fred the Raccoon. i dont know much about the youtuber nor the animals, but as someone who likes animals and cares about animals, this is messed up. it is a truly heartbreaking story. and i think there needs to be conversations. there needs to be conversations about the laws regarding exotic pets and what should even be considered an exotic pet, because a squirrel and a racoon, in my opinion, are not dangerous, and they definitely do not warrant armed officers to apprehend the animals and euthanize them. there also needs to be conversations about law enforcement and how they handled the situation and how they should handle situations regarding animals, because animals, especially small creatures, are much more in danger from humans than they are a danger to humans. it is an awful situation that happened and i wanted to raise awareness
