Well, I have some news regarding my merchandise store!
For a while, I had a merchandise store through Spring (formerly known as Teespring). It was one of my attempts to expand the Jaime David brand and experiment with another way of sharing my creative work with the world.
Unfortunately, Spring is no longer around as a merchandise-selling platform.
I recently received an email from the Spring team announcing that the platform was shutting down its storefront services. Beginning October 28, 2026, Spring stores would stop receiving traffic and accepting orders. Product creation and selling tools would also be discontinued. The Creator Dashboard would remain available temporarily, but primarily for managing payouts and other essential account information.
In other words, my old merchandise store is officially gone.
Now, admittedly, I wasn’t exactly getting tons of visitors or making merchandise sales through Spring. But that’s beside the point. I gave it a shot! I created a storefront, designed some products, and experimented with another aspect of running my own creative business. And now that chapter has come to an end.
But that doesn’t mean I’m giving up on merchandise!
Instead, I’ve decided to move over to Amaze Commerce, the platform Spring is directing its creators toward.
I’ve officially created a new Jaime David merchandise store!
And this time, I’ve actually expanded the merchandise selection. My new storefront currently includes products featuring my Jaime David logo:
- Pint glass
- Wine tumbler
- Stainless steel water bottle
- Notebook
- Mug
- Bucket hat
- Baseball hat
- Hoodie
- Crew neck sweater
- T-shirt
That’s quite a bit more merchandise than I had available in my previous store!
I’m starting fresh with a new storefront, new products, and a new opportunity to experiment with merchandise under the Jaime David brand.
Will this store become a huge success? Who knows! I’m not going to pretend that I have thousands of customers waiting to buy my merchandise. But that’s not really the point. I’m continuing to experiment, build my brand, and explore different opportunities.
