Pollution
Pollution; it’s not an illusion.
It is quite real, and we need a solution.
If we don’t solve this, it could be the end.
It could be the end of us all, and the world that we love
Could end up in flames as humans will try to blame
The problem on others and not act like brothers
When in reality, we all have a hand to play.
It is not just one group that’s the one that pollutes.
It’s a bunch that had acted, so we need a group effort
To solve this problem and help the environment.
We must have a vision, and avoid division.
We must work united in order to fight this.
This is Earth is our home; the one we were grown.
In order to save it, we must be it’s saviors!

Hey everyone, welcome back to The Jaime David Podcast. This is Episode 26, and today we’re talking about something that affects all of us—whether we want to admit it or not.
Pollution.
It’s not a new issue, but it is an urgent one. One that demands both awareness and action. And I want to start this episode by reading the poem I wrote back in 2020, during a time when the world was already facing major upheaval—but the climate crisis was still ever-present in my mind.
Pollution
Pollution; it’s not an illusion.
It is quite real, and we need a solution.
If we don’t solve this, it could be the end.
It could be the end of us all, and the world that we love

That last line always hits me. “We must be its saviors.”
It’s easy to feel overwhelmed when we talk about pollution. It’s in the air, the oceans, the soil, even our bodies. Microplastics in fish. Toxic runoff in rivers. Smog in cities. But what’s even more toxic than the pollution itself… is denial. And division.
When we blame others without acknowledging our own role, we stop progress before it even starts. That was a core message in the poem. Pollution is a shared problem—it requires a shared solution.
This isn’t about guilt-tripping anyone. It’s about empowering everyone. Small choices matter: what we consume, how we dispose of waste, how we vote, how we show up for our communities. But so does the big picture: holding corporations and governments accountable, pushing for clean energy, and supporting science-driven climate action.
And let’s not forget—we all live here. We breathe this air, drink this water, and depend on this land. Earth isn’t someone else’s responsibility. It’s ours. Yours. Mine. Everyone’s.
So the message for today is simple but urgent: Pollution is real. And we need real solutions.
Let’s be those solutions. Let’s be the ones who care enough to change the narrative. Let’s be the saviors our planet needs—not superheroes, just everyday people who refuse to give up.
