Well… I did it.
I’ve released my debut album, a self-titled album simply called Jaime David.

13 songs. Different sounds. Different genres. Different ways of making music.
Some songs were made in Audacity using sounds I created and manipulated myself. Some are instrumental pieces featuring instruments I recorded myself. There’s a rap song I performed myself. And there are also AI-assisted songs, where I wrote the lyrics and used AI to perform and help turn those words into songs.
I know AI in music is a subject that people have strong opinions about. And I get it. Everyone is going to have their own perspective on it.
For me, I see AI as a tool.
And I believe that, like any tool, what matters is how you use it. For me, it can be a creative tool that takes lyrics I wrote and helps turn them into something I might never have been able to create on my own. It can take an idea and turn it into a song. It can take words and put them into genres and sounds I might never have imagined.
And honestly, that idea is part of what I wanted this album to explore.
What is music?
What do we call music?
Does music have to fit into a certain genre? Does it have to be made a certain way? Does it have to use certain instruments? Does it have to sound like what we’ve traditionally called music?
Maybe not.
Maybe music can be anything.
So this album is, in a way, my little experiment in that question.
13 songs. A bunch of different sounds. A bunch of different approaches.
And all of it is Jaime David.
This is my debut album.
And this is my music. 🎵
